By invitation, annually

The Clearinghouse Summit

One day. One hundred and fifty operators. The decade-shaping conversation about construction capital, off the record.

The first Summit is in production for late 2026. Date and venue announce to the Alliance first.

What the Summit is

The Clearinghouse Summit is an invitation-only annual working gathering of the operators who decide where construction capital goes. CFOs, owners, lenders, sureties, and the small number of teams building the rail itself.

It is not a conference. There are no keynotes. There is no exhibition hall. There are no sponsors with vendor booths. There are four working rooms running in parallel, each scoped to a specific party in the capital chain. Attendance in each room is capped to keep the conversation real.

The Summit produces a single written output every year: a policy and operating brief, drafted by participants and published to the public on the day after the Summit closes. The brief is not a vendor white paper. It is the operators’ actual position on what should change in the next twelve months.

Four rooms

The CFO room

Roughly 60 GC CFOs and finance leads. Closed-door working sessions on cash-cycle compression, bonding capacity, and lender coordination. The room agenda is set by the CFOs in attendance, not by the host.

The capital room

Roughly 40 senior credit officers, construction-loan administrators, and surety underwriters. The agenda focuses on draw evidence, real-time compliance signals, and what the underwriting toolkit looks like when the rail is live.

The owner room

Roughly 30 development principals, real estate fund operators, and major institutional owners. The agenda focuses on capital deployment certainty and audit-package automation.

The infrastructure room

Roughly 20 builders of the rail itself: payment-rail operators, identity providers, document-validation teams, state-statute reformers, and regulatory observers.

Operating principles

  • Off the record. No press, no recordings, no social posts. Conversation only flows under that protection.
  • No vendors selling vendors. The Summit is not a trade show. Sponsors are explicitly not allowed to pitch.
  • Operators only. Every attendee is a working principal. No analysts, no observers, no plus-ones.
  • Output is a published policy and operating brief. The Summit produces an annual brief that the participants ship to their counterparties. The brief is not a vendor white paper.

How invitations work

Builders Ledger Alliance members are first in line. After the Alliance, invitations extend to active design partners and to the credit officers and surety underwriters those design partners work with. The remaining seats fill from a curated outside list maintained by the founder.

We do not accept self-nominations. If you are not on the Alliance roster, the simplest path to the Summit is to join the Alliance and contribute the anonymized benchmark data the cohort relies on. The roster grows quarterly.

Stay close.

Date and venue for the first Summit publish to the Alliance roster sixty days before the event. Outside seats fill from there.
