What is Draw Package?

The bundle of pay applications, signed lien waivers, compliance evidence, and inspection documentation that a general contractor submits to an owner or construction lender to fund a periodic disbursement.

Description

A Draw Package is the evidence bundle that funds a periodic disbursement from an owner or construction lender to the general contractor. A typical package includes approved G702 and G703 pay applications, conditional and unconditional lien waivers from every tier, valid ACORD 25 certificates of insurance, inspection and milestone evidence, and a ledger reconciliation.

On conventional construction, the Draw Package is assembled manually from PDFs, shared drives, and email threads, which is why draw approvals often take two to four weeks. On the Construction Clearinghouse, the package is assembled continuously from the live project ledger, so approval collapses to days rather than weeks.

Every line of a Draw Package is tied to an event on the signed ledger. Owners and lenders can click through from the summary to the underlying evidence without leaving the draw room.
